It is suspected that intermittent rain in the past couple of days could be the reason behind the incident. The Delhi Fire Service said the mishap took place around 7-50 p.m. on a plot on Tanki Road. The family of Tazu Sheikh was completely buried under the debris as their hutment was unable to protect them from the falling wall. While 55-year-old Taju Sheikh and his 50-year-old wife, Munjara Bibi, succumbed to their injuries, their two teenaged daughters, Nirupa and Marboza, and 10-year-old son were injured in the incident. The injured were taken to Apollo Hospital where they were stated to be out of danger.
