Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema, Kerala and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and dry weather prevailed over coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature rose markedly to appreciably at a few places over Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose at a few places over south interior Karnataka, at one or two places over rest Telangana, rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell appreciably at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
