KASARAGOD: The Kerala Youth Front (Jacob) will take out a campaign rally from here to Thiruvananthapuram on Friday to highlight ``the anti-people policies'' of the Oommen Chandy Government. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the KYF(Jacob) president, Anoop Jacob, alleged that the Government had lost its direction on all fronts and that its policies were not transparent. The investigation into the recent SSLC paper leakage is the latest one in a series of issues that the Government has failed to address. The policies of the Government with regard to liquor, Halcyon Castle and similar issues have tarnished its image. The Government has failed to rehabilitate even the victims of the December 26 tsunami, he said. Referring to the decision of the Kerala Congress(B) to snap its ties with the ruling United Democratic Front (UDF), the KYF(Jacob) leader said his parent organisation, the Kerala Congress (Jacob), would decide its course of action soon. The rally, `Janamochana Yatra,' will pass through all the 14 district before concluding at Gandhi Park in Thiruvananthapruam on May 21. The Kerala Congress(Jacob) leaders T.M. Jacob, Johnny Nellore and C. Mohanan Pillai will address a public meeting to be held on the new bus-stand premises here from where the rally will be flagged off. The Front will organise public meeting at all district headquarters to explain its political stance. The KYF(Jacob) district president, George Painapally, was among those present at the press conference.
