`NICE yet to submit plan for highway'
BANGALORE:
The Minister for Public Works and Energy, H.D. Revanna, today said the "alignment plan" for the expressway coming under the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project has not yet been submitted to the Government.
Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE), which is executing the project, has not submitted the plan, he told presspersons here.
The alignment plan is required to enable the Government to hand over land needed for such projects.
To a query as to when the Government would transfer land to NICE to facilitate completion of the project, he said, "Everything will happen in accordance with law."
The Government is not blocking the project and is ready to give the land required for the road, Mr. Revanna, who set up an advisory committee to review the project, said. — PTI
