Athletics
NEW DELHI: A junior athletics meet to celebrate the World Athletics Day will be held at the Nehru Stadium here on May 12 and 13. The Athletic Federation of India (AFI) will conduct 10 events for boys and nine for girls in the two-day meet. Athletes born in 1988 and 1989 are eligible. Interested may send their entries to the AFI office, Gate 28, Room No. 1148, J. N. Stadium, before May 9. The events: Boys: 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 110m hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, discus and 5km walk. Girls: 100m, 400m, 800m, 100m hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, discus and 5km walk.
