PATHANAMTHITTA: Workers of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) staged marches to all the five taluk offices in the district on Thursday, protesting against the alleged move to scuttle the ongoing ward delimitation process for local self-governments by the ruling parties. The CPI(M) district unit secretary, K. Ananthagopan, inaugurated the march in Pathanamthitta. Raju Abraham, MLA, inaugurated the march in Ranni. The party State committee member, R. Unnikrishna Pillai, inaugurated the march in Adoor and the district committee members Philip Koshy and A. Lopez inaugurated the marches in Mallappally and Thiruvalla, respectively, in the forenoon.
