Nominee issue: Naidu declines comment

HYDERABAD:
The Telugu Desam supremo, N.Chandrababu Naidu, declined to comment on the statement of the Panchayat Raj Minister, J.C.Diwakar Reddy, that his party should not field P.Sunitha, widow of Paritala Ravi, in the byelection to the Penukonda Assembly seat.
Talking to reporters here on Thursday, he said that it would not be proper for him to say anything even before the slain MLA's family decided on the issue. Besides, it had to be discussed in the party.
