Rupee gains further
MUMBAI:
: Revisiting the bullish period of early February, the rupee on Tuesday hit a new three-month closing high of 43.41/42 a dollar on the back of strong trade and foreign institutional investment inflows with sentiment upbeat to test five-year intra-day peak of 43.30 struck on February 2. In volatile trading at the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee gained another seven paise from yesterday's close of 43.48/49. — PTI
