ONGC makes three new oil and gas finds

NEW DELHI:
The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Thursday announced three oil and gas discoveries, one in the shallow waters in western offshore area and two in the deep waters of the Krishna-Godavari basin off the east coast.
Describing the oil and gas find in the western offshore as `significant', ONGC says this has opened up a new exploration opportunity in sands within the Panna formation off the Mumbai High field. The discovery has been made at 60 km south-south-west of Mumbai High Field.
