MANGALORE: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is issuing Manipal Arogya Cards - 2005 to provide quality healthcare at affordable cost to the middle and lower income strata of society, according to H.S. Ballal, Vice-Chancellor, MAHE. In a press release, he said the Manipal Arogya Card Scheme enables the cardholders to avail themselves of treatment at concessional rates at all hospitals in the Manipal Healthcare Network along the coastal belt. Under the scheme, if a member pays a small sum as annual subscription, he or she can make use of the benefits by way of in-patient treatment and out-patient consultations. Applications for the scheme are available at all Manipal Healthcare Network Hospitals.
