MANGALORE: The Mangalore Electricity Supply Company limited (MESCOM) has said that 125 drinking water projects have been provided with electricity connections in the district by the end of April. According to a press release here on Thursday, out of 248 drinking water schemes that have been surveyed for electrification, 125 have been energised and all of them are able run to pumps and supply water. The rest of the schemes will be provided electricity connections before the end of May.
