MADURAI: : The dates of filing and sittings for the vacation court at the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court have been modified and a fresh notification issued on Thursday. According to the notification, cases can be filed on two days a week Monday and Tuesday, and the courts would hear the matters every Wednesday instead of Tuesdays as notified earlier. While Justice D. Murugesan and Justice N. Kannadasan would continue to be vacation judges for the first part of the vacation ending May 11, Justice F.M. Ibrahim Kalifulla and Justice A.R. Ramalingam would hear the cases on May 18 and 25. The Judges for the third part are yet to be notified. The notice of any application of urgent matters must be presented along with papers to the vacation officers in the Registry before 1.30 pm on the filing dates May 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31, June 6 and 7, the notification stated.
