Basic amenities planned for approved layouts

Corporation seeks relevant documents

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner, Anil Meshram, has asked residents of approved layouts to approach the town planning department with relevant papers to avail themselves of basic amenities in the area.

In a release issued here, the Commissioner said that the Corporation Council had recently resolved to provide basic amenities to the approved layouts formed prior to 1981.

Documents such as copies of approved layout plans, orders issued for approval of layouts, copies of building plan licences issued, if any, by the local body, are required by the office.

Handing over papers

Individuals or welfare associations of such residential colonies could hand over the documents to the Town Planning Officer, Coimbatore Corporation, at Town Hall on or before May 30. For details, contact the town planning officer at 95422-2390262/3 (extn: 205) or on mobile 94437-99203.
