HYDERABAD: The Neredmet police reportedly cracked the mystery behind the murder of a realtor Mallesh (40), whose decomposed body was found in the Ramakrishnapuram tank on May 1, with the arrest of two persons on Thursday. The murder was the fallout of a real estate dispute, it was learnt. Police sources said that one of the accused person, Solomon, bought a plot from Mallesh six months ago. There was a dispute Solomon learnt that Mallesh allegedly sold the same plot to a woman home guard. Solomon bore grudge against Mallesh and hatched a plan to kill him. He sought the assistance of his friend, Rajender. The duo, along with another friend, Alagar, invited the realtor for a party in Neredmet in the last week of April. After consuming liquor, Solomon allegedly hit Mallesh with a stick till the latter fell unconscious. With the help of Alagar, they shifted him to the bank of Ramakrishnapuram tank in an auto-rickshaw. By then, Mallesh succumbed to his injuries. Later, they dumped the body in the tank and left. The victim's identity was established after contacting the telephone numbers found in his shirt pocket.
