Nethaji SC in semifinals

SIVAKASI: Nethaji Sports Club, Chennai entered the semifinals of the 30th Vinothkumar Memorail Trophy State-level football tournament defeating Acme Sports Club, Madurai 4-1 here on Friday.

Panneer Selvam scored a brace (44th and 70th minutes) and Murugan (32nd) and Thiagarajan (51st scored the other two goals for the winner). Senthil (71st) reduced the margin the Acme Sports Club.
