Inflation inches towards 6 p.c.

NEW DELHI: The point-to-point inflation rate, as measured by the wholesale price index (WPI), inched up further to 5.91 per cent during the week ended April 23 from the earlier four-month high of 5.64 per cent recorded a week earlier. The rate of inflation was pegged at 4.32 per cent during the same week a year ago.
