TIRUMALA: The TTD Executive Officer, A.P.V.N. Sharma, on Friday clarified that only prices of tickets of pre-dawn rituals being issued under the discretionary quota on recommendation letters were only being enhanced. There would be no change in prices of tickets booked in advance or purchased at bank counters under current booking. Mr. Sharma told newspersons the clarification had become necessary to end the confusion among the public. Dwelling further, he said that, the decision to enhance the price of the seva tickets being issued under the discretionary quota had become unavoidable to contain the recommendation letters "menace."
