CHENNAI: An interactive panel discussion on common disorders affecting women's health is the highlight of Mother's Day celebrations being organised by Apollo Hospitals on May 8. Medical issues concerning women will be discussed by a panel of 10 physicians at the function scheduled at the GRT convention centre at 10 a.m. The programme will feature Uma Krishnaswamy on uterine and breast cancer, Usha Sriram on menopause, obesity and thyroid disorders, Prithika Chary on head injuries, epilepsy, migraine and stroke, Jaishree Gajaraj and Nirmal Jaishankar on menstruation and pregnancy, Revathy Raj on stem cells and bone marrow transplants, Sarojini Ashok Parameswaran on stomach, gut and liver ulcers, Gayathri on tuberculosis and asthma, Jayanthy on valvular disease and heart attacks and Maya Vedamurthy on skin care.
