Power shutdown in some areas

BANGALORE: There will be no power in some parts of the city on Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to a Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd press release, Electronic City phase 1 and 2, Wipro, Infosys, Siemens, Hosur Road, Govindashettypalya, Doddadthogur, Chikkathogur, Parappana Agrahara, Basavapura, B. Channasandra, OMBR Layout, H.R. Mill, Vijaya Bank Colony, Dodda Banasawadi, Ex-servicemen Colony, Pilla Reddy Nagar and surrounding areas will be affected.

There will be no power supply at Chennakeshavanagar, parts of Bommanahalli, Singasandra, MICO Software, Central Jail, Naganthapura, and surrounding areas on Sunday.

Some of the other areas where there will be no power are:

Saturday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.): B. Channasandra, OMBR Layout, H.R. Mill, Vijaya Bank Colony, Dodda Banasawadi, Ex-servicemen Colony, Pilla Reddy Nagar and surrounding areas.

Sunday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.): Amarjyothi Layout, Lucent, Runway, Chelghatta, Kemapura, Ejipura, Control Tower, NAL and surrounding areas.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: 6th Cross 1st Stage Peenya, Welcast Steel HMT area, Peenya village, Peenya 4th Block, Platinum City, CMTI Reliance IPRTI, Kalayana Nagar, Havanur extension, Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, Nethaji Nagar, Jalahalli Cross, 5th Cross, 1st stage PIA, PIA Bhavan, Telephone Exchange, Gruha Lakshmi Apartments, Vivekanandanagar, PIA 7th to 9th Cross, Ujvala Hotel, part of Chokka Sandra, KPTCL quarters, AB Export, MSIL, Karnetic Engineers, Ayappa Nagar, Siddartha Nagar slum, SM Road, Garrison Engineers, Dasarahalli, Pipe Line Road, Kalahastinagar, Prashanth Nagar, Ravindra Nagar, and surrounding areas.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Vijayanagar, MC Layout, Govindrajnagar, Nagarabhavi Layout 2nd Stage 1st to 12th blocks, Malagala, Vijayaka Layout 1st stage, Pete Channappa Industrial Estate, Kottigepalya, Sumanahalli, Maruthiangar, Vrishabhavathi Nagar, Kale Gowda Industrial Estate, Kulle Gowda Industrial Estate, Kemegowda Industrial estate, Vinayaka Nagar, Sannakki Bayalu, Shiva farm, Beggars Colony, Sukadakatte, Magadi Main Road, Rajajinagar Industrial Town, Basaveshwara Nagar 1st to 4th block, KHB Colony, Sharadha Colony, Kamalanagar, Syndicate Bank colony, Selvam Estate, Ranganathapura, HVR Layout, Kaveripura, Ashtagram Layout, Sriramanagar, Meenakshi Nagar, Kamakshipalya, Karekallu, Bhadrappa Industrial Estate, A.D.
