BANGALORE: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Chennai pulled off a sensational five-set victory over archrival Southern Railway, also from Chennai, in the semifinals of the inaugural Rajiv Gandhi Memorial volleyball tournament here on Saturday. IOB helped by superlative play by international Nadarajan pulled off a 22-25, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-10 victory in 105 minutes. In the other semifinal, ONGC sunk Indian Navy's hopes with an authoritative 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 25-16 victory. The results: Men (semifinals): IOB (Chennai) bt Southern Railway (Chennai) 22-25, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-10; ONGC bt Indian Navy (Kochi) 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 25-16.
