Micro Labs unit gets UK MHRA nod

BANGALORE: The Goa unit of the Bangalore-based pharma company Micro Labs has received approval from Britain's Ministry of Health and Regulatory Affairs (MHRA). The approval will bring the standards of Micro Labs unit on a par with MHRA standards enabling it to secure contract manufacturing orders from MNC's as well as produce large quantities for export to regulated markets. This is the third facility of Micro Labs to be approved by the MHRA after the Beta-lactam facility in Bangalore and a solid dosage form facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, a company statement said here.
