Elofic to double capacity
HYDERABAD:
Elofic Industries, which makes automotive filters, is embarking on an expansion plan to double capacity. Towards this end it would upgrade facilities at its two manufacturing plants located at Faridabad and Hosur with an investment of Rs. 8 crores. The company is now producing 25 million units annually. K. D. Sahni, Joint Managing Director, said in a release that besides marketing products under its own brand name of `Elofic', the company also had co-branding arrangements with Tata Motors, and Mahindra & Mahindra. The company announced the launch of `multi purpose lithium grease' for automotive and industrial application in Hyderabad, as part of its diversification plans.
