Satyam becomes member at XBRL consortium

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services announced that it has become India's first Direct Participant member at the XBRL International Consortium. The consortium is a non-profit one, whose members include about 300 leading global organisations from segments of business information supply chain. As its member, Satyam would work together with other consortium members to promote adoption of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language), a standard designed to eliminate incompatible formats and vocabularies and to use recent trends in technology to enhance business reporting.
