Naidu begins two-day visit to Kuppam today

CHITTOOR: The former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, will tour Kuppam constituency on May 10 and 11, the TDP member of Parliament, Adikesavulu, has said.

Talking to mediapersons here on Monday, he said several programmes would be organised on this occasion. Mr. Naidu would inaugurate the hi-tech mobile ambulance service and tractor tankers at Kuppam on Tuesday.

The ambulance would operate on the road from Pattikonda near the Karnataka border to Tirupati to help accident victims.

The ambulance provided with the latest equipment would also have a wireless set to receive emergency calls from people involved in accidents.

School kitchens

He will also lay a foundation stone for the construction of kitchen rooms for 50 schools. He would tour 12 to 14 villages in his constituency.

All the 10 drinking water tankers would be commissioned with the MPLADS of which five would be given to each mandal in Kuppam constituency.

Mobile veterinary centre

The MP said another ambulance service would be set up at Nendragunta on the Chittoor-Tirupati road.

Besides, a mobile veterinary centre would be established soon to treat cattle in the parliamentary constituency.
