HYDERABAD: Srikakulam and Guntur boys moved into the quarterfinals of the 21st AP inter-district sub-junior handball championship for boys and girls in Tenali, according to information received here on Monday. The other teams which made the knockout phase in the boys' section were Kurnool, West Godavari, Warangal, Cuddapah, Hyderabad and Karimnagar. The results: Boys: Pool A: Srikakulam bt Guntur 8-6, Krishna bt Vizianagaram 10-4, Srikakulam bt Vizianagaram 11-1. Pool B: Hyderabad bt Ranga Reddy 8-6, Hyderabad bt West Godavari 12-10, Nizamabad bt Khammam 7-6, Nizamabad bt Prakasam 11-8, Hyderabad bt Nizamabad 10-3, West Godavari bt Ranga Reddy 16-6, West Godavari bt Nizamabad 14-10. Pool C: Cuddapah bt Mahabubnagar 15-4, Cuddapah bt Kurnool 13-9. Pool D: Warangal bt Chittoor 15-6, Vizag bt Chittoor 10-7, Warangal bt Vizag 15-9. Girls: Pool A: Kurnool bt West Godavari 6-4, Kurnool bt Hyderabad 6-1. Pool B: Prakasam bt Krishna 14-3; Guntur bt Prakasam 7-4; Prakasam bt Vizag 9-1. Pool C: Cuddapah bt Srikakulam 5-1; Khammam bt Cuddapah 8-3; Khammam bt Srikakulam 8-0. Pool D: Warangal drew with Karimnagar 3-3; Kurnool drew with Nizamabad 4-4.
