NAGERCOIL: Indian Army (Delhi) lifted the Bharath Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Trophy defeating MEG (Bangalore) 57-51 in the last match of the men's semifinal league of the IOC-sponsored all-India invitation basketball tournament here on Sunday. Indian Army emerged winner with an all-win record in the league while MEG finished runner-up. The results: Indian Army 57 (Vijay Kumar 15, Phool Singh 13, Arockia Babu 12) bt MEG (Bangalore) 51 (Jijin K. Joseph 19, Manoj 10, Shrajudeen 10). Signals (Delhi) 72 (Promod Kumar 21, Jaswant Singh 19) bt EME Centre (Bhopal) 57 (Hawa Singh 22, Dharmendra 18).
