KHAMMAM: Seven towers of 220 kv transmission line connecting the Budidampadu substantion with the grid crashed due to heavy winds that accompanied the summer showers in the district today. Power supply to Khammam town and Penuballi areas was affected. Transco authorities said that the power supply was restored immediately by taking up supply through alternate lines.
