BANGALORE: Officials of the CID, Forest Cell, on Monday arrested four persons in H.D. Kote police station limits in Mysore district and seized from them skins of a leopard and a tiger, together valued at Rs. 1.5 lakh. The Inspector-General of Police (Forest Cell), K.S.N. Chikkerur, said here that Shivappa, Basavaraju, Nagaraj and Guruswamy, all from Mysore district, were arrested on a tip-off, and the skins seized. A case has been registered at H.D. Kote police station under the Wildlife Protection Act, he said.
