Arms to Nepal

This refers to the report, "It's official: India to send arms to Nepal" (May 10). The Indian Government's decision is a strategic move. New Delhi should stand by King Gyanendra and assist him in curbing the Maoists as they could hurt India if left unchecked.

The decision to supply arms to Nepal is the right one. If India does not supply arms some other neighbouring countries will do it and make capital.
