CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh,

Telangana and Souther interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Coastal and North interior Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are:

Aruppukottai (Virudhunagar dt.) 2, Aranthangi (Pudukottai dt.), Uthagamandalam, Sivagangai and Kalingapatnam 1 each. On Monday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, fell appreciably at one or two places over South interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, fell at one or two places over rest South interior Karnataka, rest Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. .

FORECAST (valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and South interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Rayalaseema, Telangana, Lakshadweep. Coastal and North interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (valid until Thursday morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
