BANGALORE: B. Naveen (six for 18) and B. Akhil (six for 40) struck in the first and second innings respectively, to guide Friends Union Cricket Club (1) (FUCC) to an innings and 121-run victory over Jayanagar Colts in a KSCA Group I, first division league match here recently.

The scores: FUCC (1) 351 for nine decl. in 71.5 overs (Shyam Ponnappa 79, Amith Kumar 53, Sandeep four for 92) bt Jayanagar Colts 97 in 30.3 overs (B. Naveen six for 18) and 133 in 3.3 overs (Prateek Nawani 55, B. Akhil six for 40).

Jupiter CA 211 in 53.2 overs (B.A. Vinay 62, Gaurav Dhiman four for 40) and 189 in 60.2 overs (Karthik Koushik 73) lost to Herons CC 317 in 55.3 overs (S. Vinodh 65, K.N. Ramesh 62, Sunil Kumar six for 66) and 93 for seven in 10 overs.

Malleswaram Gymkhana 457 for three in 76 overs (Vinayak Uthappa 173, S.N. Ameeth 100, Yere Goud 90 n.o.) drew with Swastic Union CC (2) 384 for seven in 112 overs (Devaraj Patil 151, Vijay Madyalkar four for 103).

Bangalore Cricketers 456 for five in 111.1 overs (K.G. Girish 202, Yathiraj 154) drew with Bangalore Occasionals 285 for four in 64 overs (K.B. Pawan 102, Shoaib Manohar 101).

Swastic Union CC (1) 211 in 62.5 overs (B. Rajashekar five for 64) and 179 for five decl. drew with Wadiyar CC 198 in 42 overs (Santhosh Vadeyaraj five for 30) and 120 for six in 31 overs.
