Bharat Bhardwaj enters last four

NEW DELHI: Bharat Bhardwaj beat Vijay Bhardwaj 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in a red group league match and set up a semifinal clash with Rohit Bisht in the boys' under-14 section of the Peninsula Cup Masters junior tennis tournament here on Tuesday. In the other semifinal, Shantanu Rajput will take on Vijay Bhardwaj.

The results:

Boys: Under-14: Bharat Bhardwaj bt Vijay Bhardwaj 6-4, 4-6, 6-4; Shaswat Saharia bt Vikhayat Arora 6-2, 2-6, 6-3; Shantanu Rajput bt Ronit Bisht 6-3, 6-2; Rohit Bisht bt Sanil Sachar 6-1, 6-0.

Under-12: Harshit Juneja bt Rohit Bisht 6-1, 6-0; Vinayak Bhambri bt Rohan Shroff 6-0, 6-0; Ronit Bisht bt Pranay Kumar 6-0, 6-0; Gautam Ahuja bt Mridul Suneja 6-0, 6-0.

Girls: Under-14: Disha Sehgal bt Vidushi Bhalla 6-3, 3-6, 6-2; Monica Menon bt Isha Razdan 6-2, 6-4.

Under-12: Carol Augustine bt Himangi Arya 6-1, 6-2; Aarzoo Malik bt Shuba Arya 6-2, 6-0; Isha Razdan bt Reha Shroff 6-0, 6-0; Vidushi Bhalla bt Garima Singh 6-1, 6-0.
