KOLLAM: The consecration rituals of the St. Mary's Jacobite Syrian Church at Kundara will be held from May 13 to 15. The Catholicos, Baselios Thomas I, will be the chief celebrant for the rituals. The church has been constructed by the Kundara St. Mary's Trust. At a press conference here today, the conveners of the consecration function, T.V. Punnose Tharakan and Chevalier I. John Payattuvila, said that the church built in Gothic style has been built at a cost of over Rs.90 lakhs. A `panchaloha' flag mast has been erected in front of the church.
