Thiruvananthapuram upsets Kannur

KOLLAM: Thiruvananthapuram upset holder Kannur 19-18 to top pool `A' and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 30th State junior handball (boys) championship held at the QAC handball court here on Tuesday.

Kannur also entered the quarterfinals as the second team from pool `A'.
