KSRTC office at Vyttila opened

KOCHI: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC Station Master's Office at Vyttila Junction was inaugurated by K. Babu, MLA, on Tuesday evening. In the beginning, 28 long-distance bus services passing through Ernakulam, including two Volvo services, will be diverted through the NH Bypass via Palarivattom, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., without entering the city. During late hours, the buses will touch the main bus stand in the city for the convenience of the passengers.

From Wednesday, the reservation facility for the Volvo Services will be available only at the Vyttila office. The Kozhikode-Thiruvananthapuram Volvo (Garuda) service will pass Vyttila at 11 a.m., followed by the Palakkad-Thiruvananthapuram service at 6.25 p.m. The Thiruvananthapuram-Palakkad service will pass Vyttila at 11.05 a.m.

The KSRTC will soon begin Cherthala-Angamaly chain services which will pass through Vyttila without touching the city.
