THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Muslim Youth League is organising a Secretariat rally on Wednesday, as the culmination of its Kerala march from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram. A public function is also to be held at East Fort in the evening. The march has been highlighting the issues faced by the Muslim youth as well as the backward classes and also the current political and social situation in the State, said Syed Panakkad Sadiqali Shihab Thangal, the State president of the Youth League, who is also the rally captain, and A.M. Shaji, the general secretary. Implementation of the Narendran Commission report was one of the major demands raised of the Youth League. The Youth League was highly critical of the "anti-development" attitude of the LDF, especially of the CPI(M). The LDF was opposed to all developmental activities due to political reasons, they said.
