Quietly efficient

This refers to the article, `Strengths of a weak Prime Minister' (May 11). Politicians of various hues have varied perceptions of Manmohan Singh. But the fact remains that for a majority of Indians he represents positive attributes such as quiet efficiency, progressiveness, absence of hype, understated dignity, and a straightforward manner in spite of the political compulsions and limitations.
