Pensioners' woes

The plight of pensioners is pathetic. Ever-increasing prices erode their purchasing power. Worse, this year's budget has snatched a portion of their pension as tax. Those pensioners who have not completed the age of 65 years have to pay income tax. Will the Finance Minister take note?
