HYDERABAD: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has sought to lampoon the TDP president, N.Chandrababu Naidu, by listing his alleged failures as the Opposition leader in the last one year. In a statement on Wednesday, the secretaries of the CLP, E. Pratap Reddy, S.Gangaram and K.Surekha, and its executive member, V. Vasanth Kumar, said Mr. Naidu was continuing his anti-people policies even while in the Opposition. He had kept himself busy by opposing the construction of irrigation projects all through the year and also tried his best to secure stay orders on probes against his `misdemeanours' while in power, they added. Obstructing the business of the Assembly, politicising tsunami aid, seeking continuous publicity and `encouraging' arson (after Paritala's murder) were the other "highlights" of his performance, they said.
