Double for Ramesh

VISAKHAPATNAM: R. Ramesh Babu of AIR retained his carrom double crown and G. Madhuri Lata of The Hindu won the women's title in the CRM-VJF inter-media sports meet at the Port Stadium here on Wednesday.

The results:

Men's singles final: Ramesh Babu bt Manoharan 25-17,25-12. Third place: Ch. Rajeswara Rao (TNIE) bt G. Nageswara Rao (TNIE) 25-18. Doubles final: Ramesh Babu / B. Sanyasi Rao bt Manoharan / Ganesh 25-22, 25-12. Third place: Nageswara Rao / A. Nagendra Babu bt Ch. Rajeswara Rao/ N. Trimurthulu (TNIE) 25-20.

Women's singles final: Madhuri Lata bt A. Kameswari 25-20. Third place: V. Anuradha (TH) bt Nivedita Ganguly (TH) 25-10.
