KARIMNAGAR: In a ghastly mishap, eight members of a family, including four children, were killed when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a lorry near Nagnuru in Karimnagar rural police station limits on Wednesday. According to the police, Bhumaiah (40), who was among the dead, had purchased the autorickshaw just three days ago. In another accident on National Highway 9 in Nalgonda district, seven persons were killed and four others injured when the lorry in which they were travelling was hit by an oil tanker at Koyyalagudem in Chowtuppal mandal. Three more were killed in two other accidents in the district.
A report from Kakinada said two members of a family were killed and an equal number injured when the auto in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a lorry.
