HYDERABAD: Over 92 per cent of candidates who appeared for the ECET(FDH)-2005 have qualified in the entrance test held on May 4 . The Minister for Technical Education, N. Narasimha Reddy, released the results of the entrance test at JNTU School of Planning and Architecture, Masab Tank, here on Wednesday. The Minister said that while 10,895 candidates (Diploma holders) appeared for the test for admission into 11 different branches of engineering including pharmacy, 10,140 had qualified. They would be eligible for 8,000 seats available in the university and self-financing colleges. The ECET-2005 Convener, K. Lal Kishore, said that the results would also be available on the website www.jntu.ac.in and the admission process may commence in the last week of June.
