A1 plus rating for Amex's CD programme

NEW DELHI: Rating agency ICRA has assigned A1 plus rating to the Rs. 435 crore Certificate of Deposits programme of the Indian branches of American Express Bank Limited. The rating indicates highest credit quality assigned by ICRA to short-term debt instruments. The rating draws from the strengths of American Express Bank of which the Indian operation is a branch.
