Bhopal: The World XI team enjoys a competitive edge over Australia both in the one-day and Test matches and the squad has fair chances of winning the Super Series, said chief selector and former India captain Sunil Gavaskar. ``If the World XI gets a chance to play warm-up matches to enhance understanding, it will be much better and the International Cricket Council is attempting to organise such encounters depending on the schedule of cricket-playing nations,'' Gavaskar, who was here to celebrate LG India Pvt. Ltd.'s eighth anniversary, said on Thursday. The Kangaroos play with a different temperament altogether and there is stiff competition to gain a foothold in their team. They are always under pressure and ``don't relax at all'' while their Indian counterparts ``sometimes relax,'' according to Gavaskar. UNI
