HYDERABAD: It was a nostalgic trip for Test star V.V.S. Laxman when he visited the St. John's Cricket Coaching Foundation in Secunderabad on Thursday. He was the chief guest for the inauguration of the summer coaching camp, sponsored by State Bank of Hyderabad, to be held at the Foundation. It was at this venue that Laxman learned the basics of cricket as a youngster. He told the budding cricketers that success follows commitment and hard work. "I was fortunate to have some really dedicated coaches at the Foundation. And I sincerely believe that you should also make optimum use of the facilities available here," he said. M. Sudheer, General Manager of SBH, said the Bank wanted to make a significant contribution in promoting sports and hence offered financial assistance to the Foundation.
