WARANGAL: The Endowments Minister, M Satyanarayana Rao, apologised for keeping away from the Praja Patham programme in Warangal district, of which he is incharge, and said he was asked by the police not to come in view of the law and order problem. There was a threat from the naxal groups and many other reasons, which cannot be mentioned here in the meeting, he said. Referring to the Parkal MLA, B Sara Rani's feedback where she said that the programme passed off peacefully, except in some extremist-affected pockets, the Minister urged the naxals to learn from history and said no war had ever brought peace. Mr. Satyanarayana Rao gave a brief lecture to the ZP chairman A Baswa Reddy and other TRS members how a politician should conduct himself. Appreciating the TDP leaders for taking part in the Praja Patham programme, the Minister said politicians can fight each other only during the elections. "Once the elections are over, we should come together to work for the people. Our seats are not permanent and within the time, we should prove ourselves,'' he pointed out.
