NEW DELHI: The National Democratic Alliance decided on Thursday to list the "failures" of the United Progressive Alliance Government and issue this in the form of a charge sheet to mark the Government's one year in office on May 22. After a 90-minute meeting at the residence of the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sushma Swaraj, BJP's deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had ridiculed the Opposition on the issue of boycott of Parliament instead of trying to understand its point of view and what led to the situation. Earlier, party spokesperson V.K. Malhotra said at a press conference that the UPA coalition partners were pulling in different directions and the government could collapse anytime. However, he did not reply when asked whether an "alternative Prime Minister" was ready and who this would be. He said the Manmohan Singh Government could not possibly give coherent governance as allies were openly making charges against the Congress and going in different directions.
