NEW DELHI: In order to avert any untoward incident and clear rush at railway stations during peak summer season in the Capital, Northern Railway has decided to run 24 special trains between Delhi and Patna from May 13 to May 24. Northern Railway will be running 12 pairs of Jansadharan Express (unreserved) between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Patna. Between May 13 and May 24, the 480A Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patna Jansadharan Special will depart at 12.15 p.m. to reach Patna the next day at 6 a.m. Similarly, the 0420 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patna Jansadharan Special will depart on May 14, 18, 21 and 24 at 11.30 p.m. to reach Patna the next day at 6 p.m. While in its return service, the 0419 Patna-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Jansadharan Special will depart from Patna on May 13, 16, 20 and 23 at 12.45 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla the next day at 6 p.m. Similarly, the 0480 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Patna Jansadharan Special will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on May 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 23 at 11.30 p.m. to reach Patna at 6.00 p.m., while in its return service, the train will leave Patna on May 14, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24 an 25 at 12.45 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 7.25 a.m. During the journey, these special trains will halt at Delhi Shahdara, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Buxar and Ara stations.
