Right step

The practice of triple talaq cannot be stopped overnight. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has no authority to scrap it by force of law. A certain amount of religious and cultural autonomy within the framework of the Indian Constitution should be granted to the Muslim community for all-round social reforms. The model nikahnama is a step in the right direction.
