Ashok Leyland pact with Scandent arm

CHENNAI: Ashok Leyland has entered into a deal with MatrixOne India, a subsidiary of Scandent, for implementing end-to-end PLM (product lifecycle management) solution for Ashok Leyland. The value of the contract is $1.5 million. The PLM implementation would help reduce significantly the vehicle development time and improve operating margins, according to a notification from the Bombay Stock Exchange.
